Position Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
The Operations Manager will ensure the production of high volume, high quality, and cost-effective crop production.
Responsible to ensure that the operations/production goals and tasks are completed efficiently across operation, with a goal to increase income/profitability and decrease unnecessary expenses.
Responsible for supporting the development of operations budgets, 5-year strategic planning for both operations and production.
Monitor and track crop operations budget.
Develop planting and harvesting plans with General Manager/Owner.
Responsible for crop operations such as planning, tilling, planting, fertilizing, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
Approve, create, monitor, and implement operations work standards and performance measures, manages all operations employees.
Lead and operate all standard farm equipment with operations employees.
Oversee and assist on maintenance and repairs on all farm equipment as needed such as troubleshooting malfunctions and completing minor/major repairs.
Maintains an updated and accurate maintenance/repair log on all machines for reference purposes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural field of study, required.
(Farm Management, Crop Management, or Agribusiness is preferred.
) 5
years' agricultural experience.

years managing and leading employees.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
Use of all production technology (Ex:
Trello, Greenstar, Yield Mapping, Auto-Track, etc.
) Valid driver's license and a safe driving record; Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL.
Data Management, inventory control systems and budget software experience are preferred.
